1. Information about us 

1.1 We operate the website www.designhousestockholm.com. We are Design House Stockholm AB, a company registered in Sweden under organization number 556442-4611 with registered office at Götgatan 14, 118 46 Stockholm, Sweden. Our VAT number is SE556442461101

1.3 Our ambition is to gather a collection of the very best Scandinavian design today. The term ‘Scandinavian’ refers to a philosophic and aesthetic perspective, rather than geography and nationality. Our collection is divided into the following categories: Furniture, Home Textiles, Lighting, Kitchen, Fashion, Design Objects and the Collab Collection consisting of Elsa Beskow and Astrid Lindgren.

2. Our Products 

2.1 The images on our products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colors correctly, we cannot guarantee that your computer will display the correct color of the Products. Your Products may differ slightly from these images. 
2.2 Although we have endeavored to be as precise as possible in terms of sizes, weights, capacities and dimensions these may differ by 2%. 
2.3 Product packages may differ from those shown on images on the Website. 
2.4 All Products displayed on the Website are available to the extent available. We will notify you via email as soon as possible if a Product you ordered is not available and that we are unable to fulfill your order. 

3. Use of the Website 

3.1 Your use of the Website is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please take the time to read these as they contain important terms that apply to you. 

4. How we use your personal information
 
4.1 We only use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. Please take the time to read this as it contains important information that applies to you. 

5. If you are a consumer 

The following conditions under point 5 apply if you are a consumer. 
5.1 If you are a consumer, you may only purchase Products from the Website if you are at least 18 years old. 
5.2 As a consumer you have legal rights related to Products which are incorrect or deviate from their description. Nothing in the Terms will affect these legal rights. 

6. If you are a trader 

 The following conditions under item 6 apply if you are a trader. 
6.1 If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have the right to enter into an agreement for the person on whose behalf you use the Website for the purpose of purchasing Products. 
6.2 These Terms and Documents expressly referred to constitute the entire Agreement between you and us and supersede all prior agreements, promises, insurance, guarantees, explanations and opinions between us, whether written or oral. 
6.3 You agree that by entering into this Agreement you do not rely on any statement, insurance or warranty (whether made unconsciously or negligently) that is not contained in these Terms or in any document expressly referred to in the Terms. 
6.4 Both parties agree that neither of us may make any claim for any unconscious or negligent misrepresentation based on any error in the Agreement. 

7. How the Agreement is drafted 

Please take the time to read and check your order on each side of the ordering process. 
7.2 After you place an order, you will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your order. 
7.3 If we are unable to send a Product to you, for example because the Product is no longer in stock, is no longer available or due to an error in the price of our Website, which is described in point 11.2 below, we will inform you of this by e-mail and we will not place your order. If you have already paid for the Products, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible. 

8. Your consumer rights regarding returns and refunds 

8.1 We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Design House Stockholm. Once you have received your delivery, please inspect the product(s) and inform us within 5 days of delivery if anything is missing or has been damaged in transit. We will refund or replace any item that arrives damaged. The original box for the product needs to be saved to be able to claim the product. Please contact our customer service team for more info on how to proceed at logisticservice@designhousestockholm.com. 
8.2 If you are not happy with your item, you may return your non-damaged and unused Design House Stockholm purchase in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with returning a non-damaged item. 10. Price 

Prices for the Products will appear at any time on the Website. We make every effort to ensure that prices are always accurate. However, see section 10.2 below which applies to incorrectly stated prices for a Product you ordered. 
10.1 The price of a Product does not include delivery costs. Our delivery costs are stated Shipping. 
10.2 Our Website contains a large number of Products. It is always possible that, despite our efforts, some Products have entered an incorrect price. If we discover an error in the pricing of a Product, we will inform you of that error and give you the choice to purchase the Product at the correct price or cancel the Product. We will not process your order until we have received your instructions. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you have specified in the order, we will consider the order to be canceled and notify you in writing. Please note that if the pricing error is obvious and could be understood by you as incorrect pricing, we will not offer the Products to you at the incorrect (lower) price. 

11. Payment 

Payment must be made using one of the following methods: Mastercard, Visa or Klarna.

When confirming a pruchase a caption of money from your account will be effective immediately.
In order to offer a set of different payment options, we need to share your personal, contact and order information with the supplier of the respective payment service. We recommend that you read our privacy policy. 

12. Circumstances beyond our control 

12.1 We are not liable for failure to perform, or delay in our execution, any of our obligations under the Agreement caused by a circumstance beyond our control. Circumstances beyond our control are defined below in paragraph 12.2. 
12.2 A circumstance beyond our control means any action or incident beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to a third party strike, lock-out or other industrial incident, civil disobedience or riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (explained or not) or threats or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, epidemic, or other natural disaster or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or barriers to the use of ships, aircraft, motor transport or other forms by public or private transport. 
12.3 If a circumstance beyond our control takes place that affects our fulfillment of an obligation under the Agreement: 

(a) We will contact you as soon as possible to notify you; and 
(b) Our obligations under the Agreement are deferred and the time for fulfillment is extended for the duration of the circumstance beyond our control. If a circumstance beyond our control affects our delivery of Products to you, we will arrange a new delivery date after the circumstance beyond our control is over.
