New products and updates 2011
AUGUST 15, 2011
|Design House Stockholm launched a considerable amount of new products during the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February. For 2011 we have added new carpets and stools by Lena Bergström to the collection, togheter with many new unique products within the tabletop range: The Quake Mugs by Gustaf Nordenskiöld, The Cobalt Series by Catharina Kippel, Timo Termo by Timo Sarpaneeva and the Globe Wine Glass and Carafe by Ulla Christiansson.|
However, for the fall we have a few brand new products, which are now ready to be shown to you.
Three new colors are added to the Pleece collection, earthy tones perfect for fall. The new colors Avocado Green, Dark Brown and Rust are available in all pleece models.
Johanna Törnqvist is a new designer in our team contributing to the collection with quite a unique accessory. She has designed a textile bracelet in five different styles, suitable to be worn as singles or to be comined on both wrists. Craft and modern accessories perfectly combined.
We are also showing a brand new candleholder, Night Light by Pia Törnell. This is modern interpretation of a product with a long history in Sweden. In every farm house there was one to use at dusk, the candle holder to grab and carry around to guide you. In Scandinavia we still light candles throughout the year, and we think Night Light with its modern shape is the perfect candleholder for the urban generation.
The Cobalt collection was successfully released in spring 2011. Catharina Kippel has now added two more products, an egg cup and a salt and pepper set, to make the Cobalt series more complete. They do of course have the same cobalt blue designs as the other products, hand-painted in three layers on slightly transparent bone china.
