Signe Persson Melin

Signe was the first professor of Design in Sweden and has taught many of the young designers that now work with Design House Stockholm. Signe and the Relief Group developed the wonderful relief dinnerware, Blond, for Design House Stockholm. Signe continues to be one of Sweden’s leading designers, developing products for companies such as Kosta Boda, Rörstrand, Boda Nova, Höganäs and Design House Stockholm. Today she works from her own studio in the city of Malmö in southern Sweden. She has been presented with the Excellent Swedish Design award on several occasions.
